Running on fumes1

Thank goodness I don’t have any runs or workouts scheduled today, since I’m running on caffeine and approximately 2 hours of sleep. Am I the only one who suffers from exercise-induced insomnia?

I don’t know why it is - and it doesn’t happen every time although it is happening much more often now - but every now and then I will finish a workout (run, weight session, whatever) and then not be able to fall asleep.

This is strange since, in general, I have the happy inherited ability to fall asleep anywhere, any time, period end of story. In fact, I’m generally yawning heavily around 9:30 PM and am normally in the bed and asleep by 10:00.  Huh.
